Just over half the season has gone and I think that we are doing alright. It's been a interesting mix of players that have performed for the Lions this season. Apart from the players that took Millwall through last seasons play off final at Wembley there has been quality players introduced that Kenny Jackett has acquired as this season has progressed.
Names like Danny Shittu, Jason Puncheon and Josh McQuoid have added plenty in the time they have been at the Den and long may it continue. I am not a technical purist regarding the playing of the game but the only mistake that I have seen KJ make this season is putting Danny Shittu up front, but saying that I suppose it's worth a a try.
This season reminds me somewhat of last season, there's plenty of excitement, some excellent wins, a few disappointing defeats and of course drubbing our local rivals. Our defence is as solid in the Championship as it was in league one and it is almost seamless with the midfield. There's options with players and there always seems to be a plan B. To me this is excellent organising of the squad and maximising your resources. We do get beat from time to time but we seem to come back stronger from it. I do not believe that KJ has peaked with what he can do with Millwall and with the Chairman in support I see more good times ahead.
Success can be measured by the length of the queue
