Following on from the 1-0 defeat at Blackpool Tuesday night we take on the might of our South London rivals and bottom club Charlton.

After this game we are still outside the relegation drop zone and the gap is three points between us and Charlton who move off the bottom with the point.

Charlton keeper goes AWOL but we couldn't score

I suppose a point is better than nothing but we should have had the measure of this bottom club.
Charlton did not produce much on their away day at the Den but we didn't produce much more. Opportunities were thin on the ground and if it wasn't for a excellent start Début for 17 year old Fred Onyedinma who produced a performance to remind the rest of the team of what they are supposed to be doing this would have been an "extremely dull affair" instead of a "dull affair"

Fred challengers as the Hof looks on

We have got to learn how to get into scoring positions and once we are there to know what to do and how to score. I liked the look of the big Austrian Stefan Maierhofer who come on as a sub in the second half. He looks like he should score goals at this level. He's a very tall bloke and at just under 6' 8'' and looks a handful up front. I could imagine he would be a useful target man. Hopefully that's not we end up doing at every opportunity, lumping the ball up to the "Hof"
