Holloway's Cup Final No 5 and no icing on the relegation battle cake
A decent position for a free kick but nah, nothing come of it.
This was a must win game which we lost. I had to force my self to recall this game as all I wanted to do was forget it. We wasn't very good and our tactics and player's performances was well below par.
We changed our shape after the Leeds game and a few players but it didn't result in a win which we was so desperate for.
The Players: Forde, Dunne (Beevers 45), Robinson, Lowry (Jackson 45), Fredericks, Abdou, Garvan, Woolford, Morison, Campell (Maierhofer), McDonald
Goals, Morison 30, Jackson pen 88
Goals, Birmingham, Ibe 18, Shinnie 35, Zigic 52
For Ian Holloway to be successful the players as well as us have got to buy into him.I cannot speak to for the players but as they are pulled from pillar to post and at times played out of position such as Woolford playing at left back perhaps it's hard for them to be settled enough to follow Holloway on his "incredible" journey. As for us, there is a school of thought that thinks he is a clown but It seems that the majority of regulars down the Den are still behind him. Blackburn Rovers Saturday and I am still hopeful.
