Lee Gregory is scoring again, Colchester are sent home with nought and it's a cold, cold day.

After the international break we started where we left off and carried on banging in goals. Lee Gregory was up to his usual mischief of terrorising opposition goal keepers as he picked up the ball, run and fired in a cracker. It looked like he was going to get a second as he shot from a tight angle but the ball hit the near post. Our strike force of Steve Morison, Aiden O'Brien and Lee Gregory have been banging them in and usually it is them that are racking up the goals so a bit of a surprise for me to see Shane Ferguson finishing like a quality striker and getting a couple of goals in this game. He is terrific and fits the shirt perfectly, it's a shame he's not ours but on loan.

Lee Gregory scores his 10th of the season

Our not so good friend Marvin Sordell is closely marked by Mark Beever's who has him in his pocket

We did concede after a defensive cock-up when we were 2-0 up when Joe Martin sort of passed the ball to Colchester and they scored to cut the deficit. That was as close as the Essex side got to us in this game and we extended our lead in the 62nd minute when Shane Ferguson got his second. Defender Byron Webster was lurking around the Colchester box in the 81st minute which even at 3-1 up we were not sitting deep and we got our 4th when his shot took a slight deflection and we had now scored 12 goals in our last 3 games, happy days. That was a comfortable win and Colchester have now conceding the most goals in the Football League.

24.11/15 Paris Cowan-Hall joins Bristol Rovers on a one month emergency loan. He's had a few injuries and has not hardly played in the first team so I am sure getting proper match fit should kick start his playing ability, hopefully.

27/11/15  Jack Powell joins Braintree Town on loan until the new year. Seems a bit of drop to me but perhaps he will appreciate more playing for Millwall and the bright lights that can bring.
