Down the other end Charlton supporters cause criminal damage to the away stand, Charlton's sole contribution to the game, well apart from a nautical flare.
From start to finish the Lions dominated this game which was played in front of a restricted full house of 18.013. With no luck and no bang-on finishing from Millwall the game ended as a 0-0 draw but not a bore draw. Charlton were second best and offered zilch in the way of attack and probably felt that they had achieved something as they carted their exhausted bodies off the pitch at the final whistle.
