17/1/14 Ian Holloway, Marc Bircham, Des Bulpin, the coaching team is ready

TIME FOR ACTION

Ipswich at home tomorrow

One of our old players Marc Bircham joins Ian Holloway's coaching team and took a pay cut after leaving QPR to join us. Bircham has worked with Holloway at QPR. Forgive my ignorance, but
I have never heard of a chap called Des Bulpin but now he is our first team coach. He has worked with Ian Holloway on numerous occasions and reading Bulpin's credentials he is a man that has done most things football around the world. Around the world he may have been but to get to us he only come as far as Palace where he was coaching their u18s. Ian Holloway said he wanted help and now he's got it.

It looks like these three could raise the players to the level we expect them to be. Most of us have said or written on the forums and the like that we have a good team on paper, it now looks like the time we have a coaching team good enough to lift them off that paper and on to the pitch. I'm really hopeful that the rest of this season is going to be nothing like 2013.

For the rest of this season please clink on link to my *this seasons page which includes Ian Holloway's first game in in charge last Saturday where we narrowly lost away to Huddersfield Town. A much better performance from the Wall   Link>>.Season 2013/14
