Millwall 2 Gillingham 1, Checkatrade Trophy, Game 2, 4/10/16, att: 2,240 (143)

At lease we didn't get beat

We play a 4-3-3-formation

We didn't start this game with the same team that got beat by Walsall Saturday. Noah Chesmain and James Brown from the academy started. Tom King was in goal and Twardek, Rooney and Philpot was on the bench alongside Morison, Abdou and Martin. We laboured first half and went down the tunnel at half-time 1-1 thanks to a Fred Onyedinma goal right at the death when he headed in from close range. It seems that old players of ous always come back to haunt us as Josh Wright scored for the opposition when we failed to deal with a corner.

There is a tournament boycott going on

It was all a bit of a wilderness

143 away support

Dockers not open

We started the 2nd half with a couple of substitutions which resulted in Steve Morison and Joe Martin coming on and we stepped up our performance and now looked like we could score and perhaps win the game. We could not score and as the game was coming to a end Steve Morison won possession and buried the ball with one of his superb finishes.Wembley here we come :-)
