That was a good win
The win against Gillingham gave us momentum and this classic win on the road warmed the cockles.
Over 1000 Wall made the trip and they were rewarded with a superb win which Steve Morison made sure of in the 88th minute when he was fed a forward pass and he lifted the ball over the Northampton keeper and the 3-1 win was ours.
Lee Gregory started us off when Shaun Williams sent in a pass to him just passed the half-hour mark and despite having his shirt nearly ripped off his back he shot superbly into the far corner. The start of the second half saw McCourt for Northampton get sent off for a second yellow card after a clumsy lunge on Fred Onyedinma and we capitalised shortly afterwards when Callum Butcher inside the penalty area fired beyond the keeper. Northampton made it interesting by pulling one back on 80 minutes but as mentioned earlier Morison sealed the win and 1019 went home happy.
