TUESDAY NIGHT

Those that went will know about the worlds dumbest seagull

WE MISSED THE TWO UP FRONT FOR THIS ONE
Lee Gregory and Steve Morison missing

It didn't really click with Harry Smith and Aiden O'Brien leading our attack and although we spent plenty of time in and around Wimbledon's box we really didn't trouble their keeper.Paul Robinson was at the back for the opposition and our lack of fire gave him a simple night. He was given a Robbo, Robbo by some of us after the game and did he raise his shirt to show us a Millwall Tattoo. It's good to see him still playing and I wonder if he could still do a job for us. I don't think he's any worse than we have got at the moment.

Robbo helps to keep us quiet

Wimbledon went down to ten men on 74 minutes after a foul on Fred but with the quarter hour to go we still could not get the ball in the net. It was a strange game in some respect as we had a lot of the ball and a lot of shots off and on target but we didn't dominate the game and we had to defend at times. I think we had a decent hold on the midfield and good linking with the defence but with Gregory and Morison missing we lacked that cutting edge and a normal style of attacking play. Its worrying that cover for injuries or suspension to our top players seems to be light. I cannot see quality replacements being avaikable in the January transfer window. It may be the case that if we get into this fix again a different style of play maybe needed.

No luck with putting it away
